Future scope of functions:

The candidate will assume responsibility for the Interventional Cardiology product area as part of the Product Management team and ensure growth in this area through pronounced market-oriented action and intensive coordination with all the divisions involved.

Specialist for product application

  • Building and sharing knowledge about the concept, design and application of our Interventional Cardiology products and about other medical devices for similar applications
  • Regular exchange of experience with physicians, nurses and other customers and study of relevant scientific literature to derive product improvements, market development strategies and implications for demand planning 

 

Product definition and product program maintenance

  • Further development of the product portfolio for the product segment Interventional Cardiology and market development based on existing products
  • Analysis of customer needs
  • Presentation and assertion of product ideas by means of technology roadmaps and persuasive business cases
  • Definition of product requirements for product development
  • Planning and supervision of clinical and preclinical studies

 

Market launch

  • Creation of the market launch concept for new products in cooperation with the marketing department
  • Product training and support for the national sales team and international distributors, as well as for reference users during the market introduction
  • Establishment and maintenance of strong professional relationships to key opinion leaders in the Interventional Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiology

 

Sales support

  • Support of the sales team with technical expertise and sales argumentation in the product area of responsibility
  • Sales support during customer visits, at scientific meetings, trade fairs and other events
  • Market and competition analyses, Market development forecasts
  • Definition of post market surveillance activities
  • Conception of sales promotion measures, print materials and digital media content

 

Internal cross-disciplinary tasks

  • Contact person for QM, production and executive board, contributor to product approval
  • Development and coordination of product-related goals and measures
  • Proposals for quality improvement or repositioning

 

 

For this position we are looking for a dynamic employee (m/f/d):

  • University degree in economics, natural science, human medicine , engineering or comparable professional experience
  • First work experience and proven success in sales, product management or marketing
  • Profound knowledge of Interventional Cardiology / Radiology or Cardiac Surgery would be advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally and weekends
  • High degree of self-motivation, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Target-driven and solution-oriented
  • Confident personality and professional behavior
  • Ability to present complex facts in a simple way
  • Advanced rhetorical skills, use of target group-specific language
  • English on business level, basic knowledge of German and willingness to improve, other international languages are welcome
  • Solid MS Office skills
